A SECRET: In "JLT35E.EXE", the name "JLT" comes from "Jonathan L. Thorpe", the author of QBF OS.

QBF OS is an interesting GUI. It is not like the QBF OS 99 version. There are some features missing and some features added between the newer version and this. The cursor is very hard to maneuver, but despite that, QBF OS has some interesting features. The icons can't be moved, deleted, or created. A lot of the programs and features in QBF OS are divided up into smaller programs. QBF OS has a customizable folder under the "Programs" folder that works nicely. This is a nice GUI, and I've used it for quite a while, so it is pretty good.
