The STAR Lite desktop isn't much. It is supposed to be an update from Elite OS, but it hasn't improved. Icons are bulky and big, and in order to run a program, you select it with the mouse and then press "Enter" on the keyboard. I guess double-clicking hasn't become available to them yet. The desktop is also very buggy.

A SECRET: When extracting the STAR Lite desktop, copy all of the contents in the STAR Lite folder (NOT INCLUDING THE "desktop" FOLDER), and copy these contents to the folder "DESKTOP" in the STAR Lite folder. This will activate the STAR Lite desktop.
