DOS Start is a very neat and interesting GUI that could replace Windows 3.1. The windows can't be minimized, but many things can be done within it. One of the most interesting programs in DOS Start is the File Manager. Sadly, the author said it was being sold and not developed for free anymore but rather for profit. So, no source code was included. However, this GUI is well worth a try. It is shareware, for $5, but the only thing that sets it back is the fact that new versions have to be payed for.
