A SECRET: OFOS means "Old Fashioned Operating System".
OFOS (Old Fashioned Operating System) is a very unique GUI or "CHUI" as the author calls it. The GUI looks a little bit like Linux and quite a lot like Fun500 GUI. This GUI is different since it does not use arrow keys as the cursor, but it uses keys on the keyboard to activate programs on the desktop. Some of the programs include a "word processor" and some interesting programs. OFOS is pretty neat and if it was more configurable, it could be a little more useful.
