LaOS 5 is a lot different from version 7, but it still remains the same open-source GUI. Almost everything in the GUI is in German, but some of it is in English. The installation is a little hard in the beginning, but I just copied "QBASIC.EXE" from the "qbasic" folder to the "lsys" folder, and copied the "lsys" folder to "C:\LAOS". LaOS has some neat programs that make it well worth a try.
