You can begin almost any activity on your computer by clicking the Start button. When you click it, the Start menu appears. It contains a list of your programs (many listed in submenus such as Programs or Accessories), and you can also open recent documents, and go to Control Panel to change settings. In addition, you can open Help and Support from the Start menu, and search for files, folders, or documents on your own or another computer. When you're done, this is also where you shut down your computer. For more information, type start menu in the Search box in Help and Support. Note that if you acquired Windows Me with a new computer, your Start menu may contain other items as well. |
